Now taking bookings across the Midlands — WhatsApp us for an instant quote

Who you're dealing with

These terms apply to collections booked with [Business name], trading as Scoop Waste Removal, of [Registered office / trading address] ("Scoop", "we"). You can reach us on 07874 463189 (phone or WhatsApp) or at info@scoopwastemanagment.com.

Quotes

Quotes are based on the photos, video and information you send us. The price we send is fixed and includes labour, loading and lawful disposal — provided the job on the day matches what you showed us. If there is significantly more waste, heavier waste, or harder access than the photos showed, we'll tell you the revised price before we start, and you're free to decline at no charge.

Quotes are valid for [14] days from the day we send them.

Booking

A booking is confirmed when you accept a quote and we confirm a collection slot in writing (normally in the same WhatsApp thread). We'll arrive within the agreed window; if we're running late we'll message you.

Cancellation and your cooling-off rights

Because bookings are made at a distance, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel from the day the booking is confirmed. If you ask us to collect within those 14 days — which most customers do — you agree that the service may be performed before the cooling-off period ends, and the right to cancel ends once the job is complete.

Either way: cancel or rearrange for free any time up to [24] hours before your slot by messaging the same WhatsApp thread. Cancellations after that may incur a reasonable charge if the van is already committed.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job, once you've seen the after photos. We accept [payment methods]. The price you pay is the price we quoted — no additions on the day, ever, except a revision you've expressly agreed to before work started.

What we can't take

By law we cannot collect asbestos, chemicals, wet paint, gas bottles, or hazardous medical waste. These need a specialist licensed contractor, and we're happy to point you to the right disposal route. If prohibited items are discovered in a load only after collection begins, we may have to leave them with you and adjust the price accordingly.

Your waste, our duty of care

We are a registered waste carrier (registration [CBDU______]). All waste is taken to licensed facilities and sorted for recycling wherever possible; nothing is fly-tipped. A waste transfer note is available for every collection on request — you're entitled to one, and keeping it protects you too, since householders have a legal duty of care to use registered carriers.

If something goes wrong

We hold public liability insurance of [£X million]. We take care in your home or premises; in the unlikely event of damage caused by us, tell us straight away — photos help — and we'll put it right. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, or our liability for anything the law says can't be limited.

Complaints

If we've fallen short, message the same WhatsApp thread or email info@scoopwastemanagment.com. You'll get a reply from a person, not a form, within [2] working days.

The legal bit about the legal bits
